For Coro Alumni

No one knows the impact of Coro better than its alumni.

Since 1973, Coro has developed civic leaders in St. Louis by immersing them in rigorous, experiential, community-based leadership training that prepares them to contribute to the health and sustainability of our country’s democratic processes. Coro was brought  to St. Louis by the Danforth Foundation during a time in which regional leaders were increasingly worried about the impact of racism on the social, economic, and political landscape of the region and its future — within a nation that was similarly struggling with its own history of inequity and a growing mistrust of government at all levels.

Coro Fellows are trained to work effectively across sectors, catalyze systems, and accelerate positive change. They join an unparalleled community of engaged alumni and leave the program with an understanding of how our region works and with the knowledge, skills, and network to make it better.
